19th June 2009 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 16-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 14ºC Sea Temperature: 14ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: I couldn't make up my mind if it was windy enough as the wind kept dropping off, but decided to go for it anyway with my big board and sail. At first there was just enough, but after my first run it filled in and I was nicely powered up. At times it picked up a bit more, but never became too much, and it was always plenty for a decent session blasting in and out of the wave. A few nice jumps and the odd little wave-ride too. A pretty good session really, with no one else out. Warm enough for my shortie too. |
